Within each economy entrepreneurs and managers organize natural and labour resources and technologies for the production and distribution of goods and services. But how organized and used these disparate elements, and is a reflection of the political ideals and culture of the country.
USA often described as a country with a "capitalist" economy. The term was introduced into circulation German economist and sociologist XIX century, Karl Marx for the system, in which the most important economic decisions are made by a small group of people controlling huge amounts of money, or capital. Unlike capitalist countries, according to Marx, the "socialist" country's political system had much broader powers. Marx and his followers believed that the capitalist economic power concentrated in the hands of wealthy business people whose principal objective is to increase the maximum profit. The same socialist economy, the State is likely to have greater authority and the first to realize the political goals rather than instead of profit.
Despite the fact that these are very simplified category truth, in today's environment they are not valid. Even if capitalism in its purest form, described Marx ever existed, it has long disappeared, and the government in the United States and several other countries regulate the national economy in order to limit the concentration of power and the many social problems associated with the rise in private commercial interests. The American economy has to be attributed to the economic system "mixed" type, in which the state plays an important role, along with the business.
